AAC Global announces strong financial performance in 2017

AAC Global (group) saw its revenue for 2017 grow by almost EUR 2 million to EUR 15.9 million. As well as improved sales, profitability also improved, with EBITDA of EUR 1.1 million.

“We participated in numerous large tenders last year, and we are delighted to have been chosen by customers from many industries, including manufacturing and construction, engineering, and the public sector. Our customers value having access to our vast network of vendors plus our in-house experts, which allows them to find industry-specific expertise for any need, says Leena Peltomaa, director of Multilingual Communication Services.

Petri Lehmus, AAC’s managing partner: “When I look at the results, the highlight for me is that more than one-third of our revenue came from outside Finland and Sweden. This is a very positive development, as it shows that with the help of excellent customer service we can compete and be successful in markets even where we do not have a physical footprint.”

Vesa Lehtomäki, chairman of the Board of Directors, says, “It has been a great pleasure to both follow and help facilitate AAC Global’s good development during the past year. Our recent successes in global tenders have been a positive signal that customers appreciate our expertise and know-how. AAC Group achieved its goals for the year 2017, and based on the first months of this year, the outlook for the future is positive.”

Both the fact of new ownership and an acquisition during 2016 allowed AAC to restructure and develop its organization. “We put our new strategy into motion last year, and the results so far show that we are on the right track. Customers know that they can rely on us for everything from translating 10,000 words of technical documentation into 27 languages, to designing and producing eLearning content for their employees worldwide,” adds Lehmus.
